    Memorial Day

I want everyone to remember why you're getting a day off work. It's not to BBQ, get together with friends and family, sales,  and to celebrate the pools opening for the season.
Memorial Day is honor the men and women that gave up their lives for our country, so we can have the freedoms we have.
A couple songs to get you in that frame of mind: Didn't I by Montgomery Gentry
Didn't I make you proud/Go and lay my life down/When you called my name/I thought I stood for something/Was doing the right thing when I went away/Now being back should be so simple/But I keep getting mixed signals from everyone/Why do people sit and judge me/Who ain't seen what I seen or did what I've done
    Didn't I burn, didn't I bleed enough for you/I faced your fears/Felt pain so you won't have to/Ya didn't I best/And wasn't home here when I left
I've seen boys fall to pieces/Grown men cry our for Jesus/Til they're black and blue/I thought God was on our side/Weren't we supposed to be the good guys/That would never lose/Cause I don't see no ticker tape or five mile parades/Sayin' "Thank you son"/Just floks that sit and judge me/Who ain't seen or did what I've done
Bumper of My SUV by Chely Wright:
I've got a bright red sticker on the back of my car,/Says: "United States Marines"/An' yesterday a lady in a mini-van,/Held up her middle finger at me./Does she think she knows what I stand for,/Or the things that I believe?/Just by looking at a sticker for the US Marines,/On the bumper of my SUV
See, my brother Chris, he's been in/For more than 14 years no/Our Dad was in the Navy during Vietnam/Did his duty, then he got out/And my Grandpa earned his Purple Heart/On the beach of Normandy/That's why I've got a sticker for the US Marines/On the bumper of my SUV.
But that doesn't mean that I want war/I'm not Republican or Democrat/But I've gone all around this crazy world/Just to try to better understand/Yes, I do have questions/I get to ask them because I'm free/That's why I've got a sticker for the US Marines/On the bumper of my SUV.
'Cause I've been to Hiroshima/An' I've been to the DMZ/I've walked on the sand in Baghdad/Still don't have all of the answers I need/But I guess I wanna know where she's been/Before she judges and gestures to me/'Cause she don't like my sticker for the US Marines/On the bumper of my SUV
So I hope that lady in her mini-van/Turns on her radio and hears this from me/As she picks up her kids/From their private  school/And drives home safely on our city streets/Or to the building where her church group meets/Yeah, that's why I've got a sticker for the US Marines/On the bumper of my SUV
God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood:
If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life/And I had to start again with just my children and my wife/I'd thank my lucky stars to be living here today/'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away
And I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free/And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me/And I'll gladly stand up, next to you, and defend her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land, God bless the USA/From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee/Across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea/From Detroit down to Houston, from New York to LA/Well there's pride in every American heart/And it's time we stand and say
That I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free/And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me/And I'll gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today/'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land, God bless the USA/And I'm Proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free/And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me/And I'll gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today/Cause there ain't no doubt I LOVE THIS LAND, God bless the U S A.
So, even if you don't go watch a parade, or visit a cemetery, at least take a minute (if not more) to think about those people and remember they are the reason we have what we have today.
So, THANK YOU TO ALL THE MARINES, NAVY, AIR FORCE, ARMY AND THE COAST GUARD FOR KEEPING US FREE!!!

    Just a note

So, COPS was a repeat last night, with cutie Ryan Cook, and he's talking to this guy who was talking to himself before he hit his roommate with a lamp. So Cook says "You were talking to yourself? Do you talk to yourself often? You were talking to yourself and he wanted to sleep...You split his head cause he told you to be quiet and stop talking?"

You can do what you want to

I've decided that the video "Hicktown" by Jason Aldean just turns me on, I don't know if it's him personall (I think it is though) or just a guy in a cowboy hat.
So, I got annoyed with the hottness last night and put in my air conditioners. Only took me until it was 83 degrees outside. Course in the process I got extremely sweaty, sliced my thumb open as well as my toe, and got my fingers all sore. Also needed about 3 hands to do it, but I'm stubborn and don't ask for help. Though I did almost lose both air conditioners out the windows because of that. Nicely, my thumb's sliced open on the side, so it gets in the way when I touch anything, must remember NOT to hold onto the back where the sharp metal things are. Rolling Eyes I have no idea what I did to my toe, I just happened to look down and noticed dried blood around the toenail, and then later when I washed it off, noticed it was cut. On the plus side, the ac's weren't as heavy as they were last year, so I guess I got more muscle.
But, I've decided that my left foot is just screwed for the summer. I already had it bleeding when I clipped my big toenail. Then I scraped it on my bad frame, and that bled, and then I hit the bedframe with my heel. And I also have a blister on my 'pointer' toe from wearing sandals. I tell ya, I'll probably cut the damn thing off before the summer's over with.
I know this isn't very exciting, but I didn't want anyone to think I died or something. Yes, I'm still pissed about some people not updating, one I read hasn't updated for a month.

    What hurts the most

I forgot to post a picture of Jason Aldean yesterday. He's my new favorite artist. He's so hott. I was surprised he won new artist, because he seems to be kind of an underdog, he only has 2 songs out (that I'm aware of) Why and Hicktown. But he was the only true NEW artist, the other two Craig Morgan and Billy Currington, have been around for awhile.
So without further ado, here's Jason.
And, don't forget to click on the picture to enlarge it.

    ACM Awards Tonight

FYI: If you haven't watched these and are planning to, don't read any further, as I will be stating the winners.
Now for those of you that don't listen to country, that's what this post is all about.
The 41st Academy of Country Music Awards were on tonight. Hosted by Reba McIntire at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. First award was Song of the Year which was Believe by Brooks & Dunn, followed by the presentation of the Album of the Year to Brad Paisley for Time Well Wasted. I've decided that Dierks looked better when he just didn't shave for a day or two, now he's got a mix between a goatee and a full beard, it just doesn't look good. But he sure does in black, wowee. And Top New Male Vocalist was Jason Aldean (I LOVE HIM, HE'S SO HOTTTTTT!!!!!, plus I think he kinda looks like my dream guy). After the commercial break, Big & Rich performed 8th of November, if you've never heard this song, go find it somewhere download it and listen to it, it's such a touching song about Vietnam, they were sitting on stage, just them with their guitars, a group of soldiers behind them, and then they had about 10 people who earned the purple heart come out. It was really touching.
After that Top New Duo or Vocal Group was presented to Sugarland, and I guess I missed something, cause their used to be 3 people in that group, now there's only 2. Single Record of the Year was presented to Carrie Underwood for Jesus, Take the Wheel.
Trace Adkins performed Honky Tonk Badakadonk (sp?) As much as I hate women being objectified in songs, I love this song. Gretchen Wilson played Politically Uncorrect, another great song that you should go, download and listen to. Top New Female Vocalist was presented to Carrie Underwood. Montgomery Gentry performed Something to be Proud of, also a great song, Go find that and listen to it. Vince Gill was presented with the Home Depot Humanitarian Award to which he gave to a Make A Wish child, it was really cute.
Little Big Town played Boondocks. I love the words and beat of this song. Not as sentimental as the others, but a great song. I borrowed my description from it: "This is me, this is who I am". OOOH I'm liked the new song, Rascal Flatts performed: Me and my gang, very cool. Though I have to say, the duet with Kelly Clarkson just didn't sound good, I think because, Kelly was trying to make it pop, and it was NOT a pop song. HAH! Keith Urban knows how to play the piano, that I did not know. Neat. Though I'd rather see him playing his guitar (I'm a sucker for a guy and an electric guitar. I decided that started after watching Back to the Future, also, I've loved Johnny B Good ever since then as well, but back on topic). I really don't like his hair color, he's got it dyed, so it's darker, more brown, if you see him in earlier years (wow, makes it sound like he's old, sorry), he's got blonde hair, so much better looking. Of all the songs, he could have performed, he's gotta perform his most depressing one, jeez. Tonight I Wanna Cry, so if you need a nice depressing song, there ya go.
Keith was awarded the Top Male Vocalist of the Year. I love his Aussie accent, yum!!
Wow! The earrings Sara Evans had on tonight. She had these HUGE hoops, they almost touched her shoulders and she does not have a short neck. Good God! Oh, but I LOVE the fiddle in the song she performed.
I love "Believe" by Brooks & Dunn, another song you should go listen to. Wierd, of all they hype and the announcer saying the performance of Brooks & Dunn with Keith Urban, a wonderful performance. OK, all Keith did, was sit there and play his guitar, I thought there was gonna be a duet or something. Oh, well, I was also thinking, when I realized it was Believe they were performing, that if he did sing with them, it would ruin the song.
And the Vocal Duo was of course, Brooks & Dunn, I believe they've won this award every year for awhile, except one year Montgomery Gentry won it. But my morning show, as well as me, believe they need to rename it to the Brooks & Dunn award.
I think I'd have to say Martina McBride is my favorite female country singer, she's got a great voice, and can hold a note for a long time. If you don't believe me, listen to Broken Wing.
So, now there's about 20 min of the program left, they still have 2 awards left and we're on a commercial, so there may be another commercial break and of course at least one more performance. Now, last time I checked it was AN AWARDS SHOW, maybe they should cut back on the performances and the artists would have more time to finish their thank you's. I know they always have Entertainer of the Year at the very end, and the artists never have a lot of time for thank you's for that one. It just doesn't make sense. I like the performances and all, but it is an award's show, not a concert.
Oh, and by the way, mohawks with tons of gel and country music DO NOT MIX. It's very distracting seeing a guy with 'sleeves' of tattoos and a spiky mohawk playing the drums.
So, top Female vocalist was Sara Evans and Entertainer was Kenny Chesney.

    hehe

HAH! I just got done scraping wallpaper. I love scraping wallpaper. Now for those of you that don't own a Victorian house, this is when you restore the house and have to scrap all the layers of old wallpaper off the wall, cause the idiots before were too stupid to take off the old wallpaper and just slapped a new layer of wallpaper on. So, you score (cut lines in the wallpaper) and spray it with a solution (or in our case water, cause it's cheaper and works the same) and scrape it off to find the wall underneath. It's cool, cause sometimes you find something interesting and sometimes you find stuff you don't want to. I remember last time I scrapped wp, we found a hole, or more the wall decided to crumble and fall out when the wallpaper was removed, and the chimney. Forntunately, we haven't found any holes today. We did find a neat older wallpaper though. Now I know someday someone's gonna call me up and ask me to scrape wallpaper, keep in mind, I'm getting paid for this no matter how much I like it.
And of course, when we're done, I'm always covered in wallpaper gunk. Gross.

    You and me collide

They keep shoving one of my TV crushes. He was on CSI a couple or so weeks ago, now he's on Cold Case. The first time I saw this guy was when I tripped over the show Pensacola: Wings of Gold (if you've read previous posts, you'd know that was when I started liking Marines), well he played one of the nuggets, call sign Burner. He played the character Butch "Burner" Barnes. I know he was on The Shield for awhile, I don't watch the show, so he could still be on it. I don't know. He was also on an episode of Pacific Blue (a bicycle cop show based in California), that was awhile ago, that show was over in 2000, but wasn't as good after 1998, when they took out 2 of the main characters (the two hott ones of course). His name is Kenny Johnson. Here are a couple pics of him: Remember you can click on the picture to enlarge it.

    Lady in Red

Cops tonight: Was it just me, or was the first ep, the Palm Springs one, following the same officer for all three segments? Not that I'm complaining, I just would have liked an officer more to my liking, I did find a cute one in the last one. And the second episode, Goddesses new bf was on, Officer Derrick Pendergrass, ya know he would look a lot cuter if he took off his cap once in awhile. Also, we should ask him for pics of the hott cops he works with, I swear everytime they stuck a name up, I wrote it down as a hottie. And then when he was giving the guy advice at the end "when we blue light you, we want you to pull over" (or something like that) well DUH! a cop car's behind with any color lights lit up, you pull your ass over. And the 2nd segment, I knew people shoved stuff up there asses, but I can't believe needles, and then that one kid, looked like it stabbed him cause he was in pain. Also, the officers having to get them out, oh jeez, can't say I envy them for that. It was humorous that they kept saying rectum, yeah I bet that's the PC way to say it, but it was wierd to hear, and you can't swear when a camera crew is following you. The third segment, who breaks into someone's house TO TAKE A BATH? What the hell is wrong with you?
Alright the hotties are: from Palm Springs, CA: Officer Isaac Hackbarch; From Chattanooga, TN: Officer Derrick Pendergrass, Officer Brian Lockhart, Officer Chris Sims, Sgt. Barry Burns and Officer Zach Fuller; From Pittsburgh, PA: Sgt Steve Matakovich; And from Spokane, WA Officer Kurt Vigesaa. With my hott cop award going to Officer Brian Eckersley. WOW!!!! I was drooling right after they stuck that name up, YUMMY!

    Venting

    Y'all gotta try this.

OK, I've decided my personality gets me in trouble. I know admitting it is the first step. I've come to this conclusion today. I decide that the personality that is mine that came out in jcsgrl on the cops.com forum, got under some people's skin and they finally decided to get extremely personal and got me kicked out of there. Then when I went to LawEnforcementForums, my personality got me in trouble there and I got kicked out. And then today, I was trying to fix something on my MSN groups (I had decided to use the nickname jcsgrl [maybe it's just that name, hmmm] instead of my msn name) and I joined a couple 3 or 4 biker groups, and we all know I have that other site Hott Bikers (it's linked on the left) and am always looking for pics, well, I asked the group if I could use their pics, and one person (or more) decided no, they didn't want their pics on my blog, maybe I could let them upload thier own pics on my website and then I could delete them if I wanted to. Now that makes no sense, how many websites (that are personal) allow others to upload pictures onto them? Or maybe if I filled out my profile and told them a little about the site, then it would be ok. OK, the title is Hott Bikers, what more do you need to know? Did I mention, these few weren't the hott ones? Or that they didn't actually have pics on the site? Why would I be asking the people without pics? I don't have the ability to hack into their minds and know what they look like. And so then I filled out my MSN profile, which wasn't coming up cause I used a different nickname, so I unsubbed under that one and am currently waiting to get back on it. OK, that was a long explanation, sorry. So I think my personality of being upfront and ASKING to use the pics instead of just taking them, may have gotten me booted from that group. I'll let you know.
I also think the image I portray (a strong, independent woman) kinda propells guys away from me. I'm pretty sure not many people think a chick with tats is sexy (but they're for me, no one else, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU GET A TATTOO FOR SOMEONE ELSE? That's a stupid idea.
Speaking of tats I saw a chick on the bus this morning with a question mark on her ankle. The rest of the bus ride I was trying to figure out why you'd pay $50 or more for a question mark, and on a very painful spot. You can bet to hell if I'm getting ink on my ankle, it's gonna be something meaningful, course now that I type that I'm sure it's meaningful to her. Next time I'll just ask.
    17 May

If I could turn back time

OK, so I'm adding a new blog on the side (like my list isn't long enough already), LAPD Blog, it's a blog set up by the LAPD (hence the name) I guess to keep the public informed. Personally I think my pd should do the same and add some pics of our FINE officers. Sorry, off-track.
So, tonight there's 3 things on TV I wanna watch (out of my 5 channels, who would have thought) Bones, The Amazing Race (those two are season finales) and Final Destination 2. I'm thinking about taping Bones, and the 2nd half of the Amazing Race and watching Final Destination. I'm kinda bummed about watching FD, cause the first time I was watching it, I was chatting with a buddy of mine online (not naming names, cause if he reads this, he'll know it's him) that I don't talk to anymore, so that kinda sucks.
Also, going to Chicago at the end of the month and I'd love suggestions on what to visit. I've been there 3 times already, I've been to the Art Museum, the aquarium, Grant park zoo and conservatory, the Nat history museum, I think that's it. I know we're going to the Nat History museum to see King Tut, I wanna go back to the aquarium, zoo, and conservatory (cause I always have to go to an animal-zoo or aquarium-place when I go somewhere I LOVE animals). So, if anyone has anything exciting in mind that I should go to, I'd love suggestions.

Yeah, I lead a boring life. Help me spice it up.

    love is broken

Does anyone watch the TV show, Bones, on FOX? Well, anyways a couple weeks ago, or so they had a show where the head of the FBI's daughter had a rare form of lung cancer and they found out she got it from a marrow transplant (or maybe it was a bone, I'm not sure, it was awhile ago), Anyways, Booth and Bones found out that some funeral home was taking dead bodies and taking out bones, and marrow from them and then had set up a fake company that supplied this marrow and bones to hospitals to use in transplants. Well, this dead person had died from lung cancer which was in the marrow, and when that marrow was put into a person, it infected the person. Anyways, I was reading my June issue of Reader's Digest today, and this is really happening. HOW WRONG IS THAT?
Wow, was I deceived today. I was watching The Wizard of Oz today, and it is so not even close to as good of a movie as I thought it was when I was a kid. Has that ever happened to you? You go to eat/watch/listen to something and it's not even close to how you remember it? That's been happening a lot to me recently. Like Pringles, oh, how I used to love the cheesy ones when I was a kid, well a month or so ago, I bought some. GROSS!! So, not even good. And 21 Jump Street, I used to think that was a cool show when I was younger (course, half of that could have been because of Johnny Depp, I don't care what you say, but if Johnny Depp is in something it makes it at least 10% better), but I talked my dad into buying a season of it last year. Well, I got home and watched it, wow, was that show not even close to how things are done. Stupid me, learning about how stuff is really done. Sigh.

Also, forgot to mention this earlier. I was thinking this morning (stay with me, it's gonna be a story to get to the explanation) about Friends (yes, I watch(ed) that show) and there was one guy that Phoebe dated (he was a cop), well she spent the night at his apartment once, and when they woke up in the morning the birds were singing, well, he took his gun and shot them. I was thinking about that this morning, cause I would have loved to shoot all the birds that were singing in the neighborhood (well the ones I could hear anyways). I was in a wierd bummed mood. Wierd cause I have no idea why, but by the time I left for work, it was gone. Ah, the fun moods of women.

    To the Beat of my

I am very disappointed in people. Well, not all of them, but some. Anyways, I was going through my blog reading this morning: Tara's Myspace, 911 Police & Fire, CplFish, The Enforcer's Roll Call Notebook, Rain Storms, The Soda Stand, Hott BikersJava and Books, It's Raining Men!, Hott Cops, Negative Ghostrider, Private Tower's Not So Private Place, Eyegore's World, [NTS] MadDog, Geoff's, KGBCarrie's Journal, Wamajama, Life of a Cop in a Cop's World, Law & Disorder, Matt's Space, Just What God Needs One More Victim, Lisa's Corner of the Internet, LAPD Wife, and LAPD Blog. Out of all those, four of them were updated today, six were updated on the 15th, two were updated on the 14th, three were updated on the 13th, two on the 11th, one on the 10th, one on the 8th, one on the 2nd, one on the 1st, two in April: 27th, and 20th, and one in Feb. Now I can understand not updating for 3 days, not a lot happens every day, and not every 2 days either. But there's gotta be something happening every 3 days, even if it's just something humorous you read in an article, saw online or heard from a friend. And I guess I can understand that y'all are busy with other stuff. But it's not acceptable to NOT update at least every three days, one may think you died in there, and we'd never know. I have a list of passwords and websites that if I die, someone will be telling the world I'm dead. Sorry, offtrack. So please, tell us what's happening in your life. I'm interested to know, THAT'S WHY I READ YOUR BLOG!!!
Oh, and I may institute (hope that's the right word) a new policy on here (cause I'm sick of not getting comments, course it would make me hypocritical), of not posting something new until someone posts a comment, and none of this "hi" crap, just so I can post something new. Of course, goddess has pointed out that just cause I think it's commentable (new word) doesn't mean it is. And I know you can't comment unless you have msn or hotmail service, but that's why I stick my email at the bottom.
Also, I'm looking for groups (like MSN or yahoo!) for bikers and/or cop lovers, or just plain INTERESTING chat groups. Maybe I'm just annoyed of getting the same old email crap, or maybe I miss chatting with people since I don't go to forums anymore, anyways looking to chat.

    Would I lie to you?

OK, cause I know you all care. I'm posting a couple of my grades on here, cause I'm overly happy about them, ok one, but still.
So I got an A in my Criminal Justice class. The reason I'm overly excited is because it's the first class I've gotten an A in that wasn't extremely easy. My other 2 classes were Computer Science 103 my Sophomore year and Criminology my Junior year. Those two classes were easy, for CS, basically you followed the book step by step, I think you only couldn't get a good grade if you'd had no experience with computers, or none on Microsoft Office. I think it would have been nice if we learned some stuff on Apples, but nope. That would have at least expanded my knowledge a little bit. And criminology all you had to do was basically go to class. The tests/quizzes were online, open the whole semester, you got 3 hrs to complete them, so you could have open book tests. The one big project was a power point over any one topic in the book. I chose serial killers because I have 3 books on them as it is. So, putting info with some pics and 10 sources and you have your ppt. Very Easy. Now this class I had this semester CJ484, not so easy. I'm not quite sure why he gave me the A, NOT COMPLAINING THOUGH. We had a debate, which I didn't do so great on, I believe a C. And then a paper, which I should have spent more time on, but got an A on that. And 2 tests, the midterm and the final. Got a B on the midterm, and obviously pretty damn good on the final, as I had an A percentage wise before the paper. I guess we also had participation points and I didn't miss a day of class (cause I'm wierd like that, and I feel I should always go to class, silly me).

Oh, and found this great pic online of one of my classmates. I'm not gonna tell you which one. But they all look pretty damn good, don't they? Click on the pic to enlarge it, so you can actually see them.

The world is at your feet

    Little bit of reminiscing today.
    Taking this from Sodapop:
List up to 10 things you want to say to 10 different people. Do not name the people and do not confirm or deny any “comment speculation.”
    1. I miss our talks.
    2. Back off, and let me live my life.
    3. I really like you.
    4. I just wanna hug you and make it all better *hug*
    5. How can I trust you when you make promises and never follow through?
    6. Is your offer still good? I wanna learn to drive.
    7. I need to talk to you. I NEED your help. Talk to me.
    8. There is so much I want to tell you, wanted to tell you ever since more or less I met you.
    9. Will you be the one person that never ignores me?
    10. You bitch! How dare you do that to me. Some day this is gonna come back and bite you in the ass, and I will be on the sidelines laughing.

Heard this on the radio, and for the life of me, cannot figure out the 4th C. They were talking about the 4 C's of buying a diamond. I think three of them are: Cut, Carat, Color. What is the last one, or if I messed up, the other 3?

I was talking to Goddess, reminiscing, about things in my past that I know that even if I had the setting, was able to recreate everything to the moment, I'd never get that thing back.
There's one guy that I used to have the greatest talks with. In my freshman year of college, I still had my paper route (that I'd had since 2nd grade, yeah a little reluctant to get rid of it), and I would take the same route (walking) home from it every day, around 5 pm. Well, my buddy used to work nights then, and he would go work out at the gym and be done about 5 every day. And we'd meet and I'd have some of the greatest talks with him. Standing there barefoot (this was summer) hanging in the driver's/passenger's side (depended on the day, and where he pulled up) of his truck, just talking. I miss those.

What's something of the past that you miss, but could probably never get back even if you recreated everything to a T? Now, i'm not asking about childhood recess, cause everyone wants to be a child again, go back to a time of no responsibilities, just having fun all day. I'm talking about that one moment in your life, you wished you could stay in forever, cause it was just perfect. So, what was it?

    Never fry bacon while naked

I was thinking yesterday of why I like certain things.
Dodge Trucks: When I was younger I used to watch Walker, Texas Ranger, and Walker had a Dodge Truck, full size 2500
1969 Corvette Stingrays Also from Walker, Texas Ranger, but later in the series. There was one episode which introduced two new regulars onto the show: Trent Malloy and Carlos I don't remember the last name. Anyways, Trent had a 1969 blue Corvette Stingray.
The song, Time of Your Life by Green Day. In ER one of the top surgeon's kid had cancer and he used to listen to this song all the time.
Country Music. I remember my brother and I used to listen to an 80's rock station, then they either went off the air, or changed to something else. And one, day I was listening to my dad's music and I happened to listen to Papa Come Quick by Bonnie Raitt, and someone told me it was a country song. So, after that I was a country nerd.
Marines. I used to stay up late on Sat nights when I was younger, because Sunday mornings were the only mornings I could sleep in, since we weren't a church-going family, I had a paper route, so I had to get up early Sat mornings to deliver it. Actually, I remember the first night I was up late. My parents had this rule that me and my brother weren't supposed to watch TV during the day (of course whenever they were gone, we'd do it anyway), and I remember them being gone for awhile, so I was watching TV and this movie Kuffs was on USA, only, my parents got home before it was over. Well, I remember wanting to watch the ending, and I found out it was on that night at 11pm, so I set up a tape to tape it. Then I decided, I'd go downstairs and watch it after my parents went to bed. Anyways, the week after that, I was up again, and I stumbled across this show where the people were dressed in camouflage (sp?) and watched that, I found out it was called Pensacola: Wings of Gold. So then I started watching it every sat night at 11pm, found out they were actually Marines.
Funny how some things shape how you are in the future.

What are some things that you like that you remember what got you started liking them? I know I probably won't get any responses to this, as I haven't with other questions, but it never hurts to ask.

    Be gentle with the earth

After much research today (working the Wiggles) I have come to two conclusions. 1. There are way too many cute guys with kids. 2. A lot of guys, ok maybe only 4 that are really cute that work at the ISC.
That second one was after many events and hours working. Now, I know I've said before I'm not a butt person, but (insert joke here, haha) some guys look extremely good in jeans. Three of the guys work concessions, they push stuff around to all the concession stands, so they're mostly bent over butts, and the other guy is environmental service (I believe, could be wrong. Also that's the nice way of saying custodians). They have some yummy butts, don't worry they're also cute, I wasn't just going gaga over the butts.

    Have a dog

Well, jeez I'm tired now. I was tired this morning, and tired at the library and tired now. Couldn't get to sleep last night, or my sleep pattern's off. Anyway, wanted to sleep in longer this morning. Had to get up and take a shower though. So, got that done and went to my internship. That was until noon, then I had to be at work at 1. So was there until 5, we're gonna be shifting soon, so I was measuring the collection. Then I got home and it was sweet out, so I decided to go on a walk. And it was a NICE walk. Lots of guys, and there was some kind of run that had a number of cops running in it. Nice, sweaty cops. Sorry, Goddess, didn't have a camera with me.
Only problem, now I have blisters on the bottom of my feet. 'Cause these pants are too long to walk barefoot in, meaning, they slip themselves underneath my feet as I'm walking, which of course makes it a little uncomfortable walking on them.
Oh, and the reason I LOVE sunglasses. I can watch guys in cars and on the street, but they can't see I'm watching them. So, I can check them out while they're checking me out. That's fun.

I'll never get tired of watching him

I've decided that I'll never get tired of watching my dream guy as he passes by my house on his way to work. Sigh.
I went to see Karli today, I had talked to her yesterday, and said I'd call her later this week before I came over and visited her. I decided to do it today, good thing too, when I got there, she was packing to go to IA City. She has a rash on her shoulder which she found out at the dr's today is shingles, her mom called IA City and they decided she should go there to get it taken care of since her immune system's messed up from the chemo. So she's gonna be there til Wed, maybe longer.
So, awhile back, Sodapop was talking about who her dreamy on-camera star was, and I've decided that this guy is mine, Michael Vartan, he is hott.
